If you are looking to be inspired this holiday season and make Christmas truly magical, there is one place to visit that you may not have thought of–the Los Angeles Zoo. With a host of jaw dropping lighting displays and decorations, the LA Zoo’s annual lights festival continues to be one of the best holiday spots in all of Southern California.<\/p>\n

The display features thousands of LED lights, a glowing 130 foot snake, a 3D animated elephant dressed in holiday clothes and much more. For those of you with children, the display is a must-see event, and even if you don’t have kids, it will bring out your inner child.<\/p>\n

The fun is open everyday through January, with the exception of Christmas eve and day. Tickets start in the $12 dollar range for children and move up to $14 for adults (depending on the day and time you show up). Check out the LA Zoo’s webpage below for all the details.
