Fall Recipes and Foods to Use

  |     |   Cooking Tips, Recipes

One of the best things about fall is that people can finally start cooking again. Summer is about quick meals on the go and trying to avoid using the oven as much as possible. Now that the heat is dying down, we can start making those yummy family recipes and heart-warming meals we all love. Here are a few fall food ideas.

Soups: the weather is still hot in Southern California, but once it dies down, you can start preparing those traditional family soup recipes. You know you’ve been waiting for Pozole all year.

Squashes, pumpkins and fall veggies: fall is known for a wonderful array of veggies, so try to mix your recipes up and incorporate squashes, pumpkins and other fall vegetables into each meal.

Pumpkin spice: lattes, coffee, hot chocolate, tea milk—you can essentially turn anything into a pumpkin spiced flavor. So after dinner,  spice up your life with a pumpkin spice desert the next time you eat.
