]]>Ingredients
1 1/2 pounds of Brussels sprouts
3 tablespoons of butter
3 tablespoons of all-purpose flour
2 cups of milk
Kosher salt and fresh black pepper
1 cup of grated Gruyere
Salt a large pot of water and bring it to a boil. Slowly add in the Brussels sprouts, and let them cook for seven minutes, or until the veggies turn bright green. Take the sprouts out and put them into a large bowl of ice water to stop them from cooking (who knew about this awesome trick?).
Start on the sauce by putting the butter and flour into a pan and cooking with medium heat. Stir the mix until it bubbles, then add in milk and stir until thick, which takes about three minutes. Be sure to season thoroughly with salt and pepper.
Now cut the Brussels sprouts in half and place them in a baking pan. Pour the sauce we just made over the sprouts and sprinkle a bit of cheese over them. Place back in the oven and let them bake for 12 minutes (isn’t your mouth already watering). Now serve.

]]>Veggies: lightly coats your veggies in extra virgin olive oil and place them on the grill with low to medium heat. Cook and each side for a few minutes and enjoy.
Cook time: go low and slow with ribs and pieces of chicken and high and fast with steaks and burgers. Doing the opposite will only dry out your meats.
Sauces: you can marinade meats before you cook, but do not put sugar based sauces until the very end of your session. Wait until the five 10 minutes to add barbecue and other sauces.
